"Scar Night" by Alan Campbell is one of the best books I've ever read.
It's dark fantasy, pretty gothic. The descriptions and imagery is stunning and the plot is one of the most addictive ones I've come across.
I simply love it. I haven't started reading "Iron Angel" yet, which is the next book in the Deepgate Codex. But I'm looking forward to it.
Has anyone else out there read anything from The Deepgate Codex? (Scar Night or Iron Angel)

That sounds pretty good! I'm gonna have to pick it up when I'm done with my book report book, which I guess I'll make a thread for. :/

Well then this one should be right up your alley ;D The hardcover version is pretty big, but easy to get through. I have the second book in a pocket version and it scares me more. Very tiny little writing and lots of pages  |
